Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The image is resized by your browser on your own device and never leaves it. That also makes it fast: there is nothing to upload or wait for.
What if my photo is still too small?
The tool first saves it at the highest JPG quality. If the file is still under the minimum, it adds blank comment data inside the JPG, which every viewer and portal skips, so the file reaches the size without a single pixel changing.
Which forms ask for 20 KB to 50 KB?
IBPS PO asks for its photo (200 × 230 px) and left thumb impression (240 × 240 px) between 20 and 50 KB. Those also need exact pixels, so use the IBPS exam page for them; use this page for any other image with the same range.
Why is the file a little under 50 KB?
Portals count a KB as 1000 or 1024 bytes and rarely say which, so the tool stays under 50,000 bytes and over 20 × 1024 bytes. That passes either way.
