Questions people ask
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The person is found by a model that runs in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
Can I use this for a passport photo?
Check the rules first. The US, UK, Australia and India ask for photos that aren't digitally edited, so for those, take the photo against a real plain wall. Our passport photo maker sizes and checks the photo for each country.
Does it work with more than one person?
Yes. Everyone the model sees as a person is kept, so couple and family photos work too.
Why are the edges of the hair a little soft?
The edge is blended over a few pixels so the cut-out doesn't look pasted on. Photos with the person clear of the wall and in even light give the cleanest edges.
