Make a PDF under 300 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB

Online forms often cap PDF uploads; NEET UG, for example, takes certificates as PDFs between 50 and 300 KB. Make your PDF from images and keep it under the limit.

How to make a PDF under a size limit

  1. 01

    Add your images

Pick photos, scans or screenshots, or photograph each page. JPG, PNG and WebP all work.

  2. 02

    Put them in order

Move pages up or down, and remove any you don't need. Pick A4, Letter or the image's own size.

  3. 03

    Make and download

Tap Make PDF. With a size limit, the tool lowers image quality just enough to fit.

How it fits the limit

  • It splits the limit between pages by their size, so a full scan gets more room than a small receipt
  • It lowers image quality first and only reduces pixels if it must
  • If the result is still too big, it tries again a little smaller
  • The download button shows the real size before you save

Questions people ask

Are my documents uploaded?

No. The PDF is made by your browser on your own device, so certificates, IDs and bank papers never leave it.

My form needs a PDF between 50 and 300 KB. What if it comes out under 50 KB?

That happens only with very small images. Photograph or scan the page larger, or choose 'No limit' and check the size shown on the download button.

Why can't it make my PDF small enough?

Many pages under a small limit leave too few bytes for each page to stay readable. Choose a larger limit, or split the pages into two PDFs.
