Good to know

  • Opening AVIF needs a current browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. If yours can't, the tool tells you.

Questions people ask

Are my images uploaded?

No. Each image is converted by your browser on your own device, so nothing is sent anywhere and there is no queue to wait in.

Why can't I open an AVIF file?

Older apps don't know the format. Convert it to JPG here and it opens anywhere.
