How to crop a shipping label to 4×6
- 01
Choose the label PDF
As downloaded from USPS, UPS, FedEx, eBay, Etsy or any other shipping site.
- 02
Check where the label is
“Find it for me” works for most labels. If it picks the wrong part, choose the half of the page the label is on.
- 03
Download and print at 100 %
On 4 × 6 in labels, with the printer set to “Actual size”.
Printing on a thermal printer
- The page is already label-sized, so print at 100 % or “Actual size”; “Fit to page” is not needed.
- The label is copied as the original vector drawing, not a screenshot, so barcodes stay crisp and scannable.
- A PDF with several labels becomes one 4 × 6 page per label, in order.
- For metric label rolls, pick 100 × 150 mm.
- Sideways labels are turned to fill the label upright.
Questions people ask
How do I print a shipping label on a 4×6 thermal printer?
Download the label PDF from the shipping site, crop it to 4 × 6 here, then print the new PDF at 100 % on 4 × 6 labels.
Will the barcode still scan?
Yes. The label is copied from the PDF as vector lines and text, not redrawn as a picture, so the barcode keeps its exact bars at any size.
Does it work with USPS, UPS, FedEx, eBay and Etsy labels?
It works with any PDF label, because it looks for the label-sized block on the page rather than one carrier's layout. If a layout confuses it, choose the half of the page the label is on.
Are my labels uploaded?
No. Labels carry names and addresses, so the PDF is read and cropped by your browser on your own device.
Can I crop several labels at once?
Yes. Every page is checked, and a page with two labels gives two 4 × 6 pages. To combine label PDFs first, merge them into one.
