Resize signature to 10–20 KB
Many forms, including SSC and IBPS, want the signature as a JPG between 10 KB and 20 KB. Photograph your signature on white paper and get a clean file inside that range, with the paper texture and shadows removed.

How to make a 10–20 KB signature
- 01
Sign on white paper
Use a black or blue pen and sign in a box about 6 × 2 cm. Take a photo from straight above in daylight.
- 02
Check the result
The tool finds the ink, removes shadows and ruled lines, and crops close around the signature.
- 03
Download the JPG
The file is 472 × 157 px (6 × 2 cm at 200 dpi) and between 10 and 20 KB, ready for the upload box.
Good to know
- Forms check the file size, not just the picture. A 25 KB file is refused even if it looks perfect, which is why the download is kept inside 10–20 KB.
- IBPS prefers 140 × 60 px for the same 10–20 KB limit. Its exam page makes that exact size.
- Sign exactly as you will on the exam day: the invigilator compares the two.
Questions people ask
Is my signature uploaded?
No. It is cleaned and resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
Why is my file smaller than 10 KB in other tools?
A simple signature compresses very well. When that happens here, the file is padded with blank data inside the JPG, so it reaches 10 KB while the picture stays the same.
Can I sign on my phone screen instead?
Yes. Draw it with our signature maker, then bring the download here to set the KB size. Check that your form accepts a drawn signature first.
