Merge VCF files into one
Put several .vcf contact files together into one, so a new phone or Google Contacts imports them in one step. Cards are copied as they are, photos included. You can also combine contacts that appear in more than one file.

How to merge VCF files
- 01
Choose the .vcf files
Pick several at once, or add them one by one. The arrows change their order.
- 02
Decide about duplicates
Tick the box to turn contacts with the same phone number or email into one card.
- 03
Download the merged VCF
One file holds every contact from every file.
How combining duplicates works
- Two cards are the same contact when they share a phone number or an email address. “+977 981-2345678” and “09812345678” count as the same number.
- The name, company and address come from the first card in the list; every different phone number, email and note is kept.
- Combined cards are written as vCard 3.0, and contact photos are left out. Leave the box unticked to keep every card exactly as it was.
- The order of the files decides which card counts as the first.
Questions people ask
How do I merge several VCF files into one?
Choose all the .vcf files here, put them in the order you want, and download the merged VCF. Import that one file on your phone or in Google Contacts.
Will merging remove duplicate contacts?
Only if you tick “Combine contacts with the same number or email”. Otherwise every card is kept, so a contact that is in two files appears twice.
Are contact photos kept?
Yes, when duplicates are not combined: each card is copied exactly. Combining writes the cards again and leaves photos out.
Are my contacts uploaded?
No. The file is read by your browser on your own device. Contact lists are personal data, so nothing is sent anywhere.
