    Take the photo against a plain wall

    Face the light, look straight at the camera and keep your shoulders in view. Wear what your agency's announcement asks for.

  2. 02

    Let the tool paint the background red

    It frames your head and shoulders at 4 × 6 cm, makes the background red and keeps the JPG between 80 and 200 KB.

    Upload it in your SSCASN profile

    Add it under Biodata Diri. SSCASN reuses this pas foto when you apply for a formasi, so check it before you finish.

What you can check for yourself

  • Free, with no daily limit. The digital photo and the print sheet both download free, as many times as you need. No account, no watermark.

  • Nothing is uploaded. Test it: after your first photo, turn on airplane mode and make another. It still works, because the photo never leaves your device.

  • No beautification. The tool never smooths skin or reshapes your face. It crops and sizes the photo, and paints the background only where the rules allow it.

Questions people ask

What is the CPNS pas foto size in KB?

SSCASN accepts no file under 80 KB, and the cap is shown next to each document in the form. BKN's earlier guides capped the pas foto at 200 KB, so a JPG between 80 and 200 KB fits both. Free Photo Desk makes it in that range.

What background colour is the CPNS photo?

Red. The SSCASN FAQ lists a digital pas foto with a red background among the documents to prepare. The tool repaints the background red for you.

Is the CPNS photo 3x4 or 4x6?

SSCASN sets no print size for the digital file; it checks the format and the KB. We make it 4 × 6 cm (472 × 709 px), the usual Indonesian pas foto shape. If your agency's announcement names another size, follow it.

Why does SSCASN reject my photo file?

Usually because the file is under 80 KB, over the cap shown in the form, or not a JPG. Download the JPG from this page: it is already between 80 and 200 KB.

Is the swafoto the same as the pas foto?

No. The swafoto is a live selfie SSCASN takes with your camera while you create the account, with liveness detection. The pas foto is a separate file you upload in your profile.

Can I change my pas foto after registering?

Not after the account is created: the guide says name, place and date of birth and the pas foto can't be changed then. Check everything on the confirmation step and use Back if something is wrong.

Is this the same for PPPK?

PPPK also registers through SSCASN, with the same upload checks. The documents and photo rules are set by each selection's announcement, so compare with yours.

Is my photo uploaded to Free Photo Desk?

No. The photo is processed in your browser on your own phone or computer and never leaves it. Only you upload it, to SSCASN.
